Better mental health for youth workers better mental health for youth!

The mobility of youth workers project “Strengthening Mental Health Of Youth Workers For Better Health Care To Youth” organized in Ankara between 14-21 October with the participation of 32 youth workers from 8 countries. The goals achieved with this project were as follows.

  • -To contribute to the use of a common methodology by individuals working in this field by providing a more accurate understanding of the concepts of youth worker and youth work,
  • -To understand the concept of non-formal learning correctly and to reveal its difference from formal education,
  • -Discovering and starting to use new non-formal learning tools,
  • -Disseminating the art therapy method in youth work by teaching it to youth workers,
  • -Better understanding of the challenges faced by youth workers,
  • -Stronger awareness of the importance of mental health for youth workers through a correct understanding of the concept of mental health,
  • -Better understanding the needs of youth workers in order to protect their mental health,
  • -Better understanding of the mental problems experienced by young people,
  • -Individuals working in the youth field should acquire new knowledge and skills in order to protect their mental and physical health,
  • -Individuals working in the field of youth acquire new knowledge and skills in order to contribute to the protection of the mental and physical health of young people in their target groups,
  • -Creating a long-term partnership network between institutions working in the field of youth,
  • -Better understanding and comparison of studies carried out on mental health in the field of youth,
  • -Explaining the Erasmus+ program in detail to youth workers so that they can benefit from the Erasmus+ program more effectively,
  • -Publishing podcasts for the protection and development of mental health in the field of youth,
  • -Publishing a guidebook for the protection and development of mental health in the field of youth.
